Britain's Got Start-Ups

Our events connect start-up and scale-up businesses with the right investors.

Our purpose

We aim to create a platform for the best start-up and scale-up businesses in each region to access local, regional, London-based and international investors.

How will we do that?

The best start-ups are shortlisted and given an opportunity to pitch in front of a judging panel at their regional heat.

The best start-ups are shortlisted and given an opportunity to pitch in front of a judging panel at their regional heat.

The most successful businesses from the regional heat will then pitch at the main event in front of an audience of investors.

Regional events will be held throughout the year with a finale event in London to promote the best businesses from each region. UK investors will be able to attend if they’ve attended at least two regional events and international investors will also be welcome.

Why should you get involved as a startup business?

When you pitch at a Britain’s Got Startups event, you will receive high-level feedback on your investment deck. Even better, if you are shortlisted for a regional heat, you will receive both photo and video content of you pitching and networking at the event.

If a shortlisted business doesn’t make it through to pitch at the main event, one member of the team can attend the main event as part of the audience.

The audience will comprise 60% of investors including angels, family offices, venture capital and venture debt firms.

Novus Capital will assist the businesses that pitch at the main event with investor relations and liaising with relevant investors.
